Open the oil tank’s cover of the oil BDV tester, Remove any electrical frame and insulating sleeve, and leave only the fastened end of the electricity. By the test line of the high voltage terminal is connected to the electrical fastener, the grounding end of the AC high voltage table is connected to the ground end of the device to increase the voltage to the appropriate size, and keep unchanged. At the same time record the readings of the instrument and high voltage gauge’s, Double the value of the high voltage gauge is the standard value of the output voltage.

 

Double-edged Measurement Method
Remove the two electrical frames and insulating sleeves, and connect the high-voltage terminals of two AC high-voltage gauges to the two electrical connections respectively, and the grounding terminals of the two high-voltage gauges are together with the grounding terminal of the equipment. The sum of the values of the two high-voltage gauges is the standard value of the output voltage.

Before using this tester, be sure to read this operation manual in detail.

 

Before turning on the power, carefully check whether the connecting wire is firm, and the instrument shell must be reliably grounded.

 

After the power is turned on, the operator is strictly forbidden to touch the shell of the oil cup tank cover to avoid the danger of electric shock.

 

Use only a calibrated tester. Regular calibration should be performed according to manufacturer specifications.

 

The test cell and electrodes must be thoroughly cleaned and dried before each test to avoid contamination and false results.

 

During the use of the tester, if any abnormality is found, the power supply should be cut off immediately.

 

The oil cup should be kept clean. During the outage period, a sufficient amount of dry and qualified insulating oil should be added to soak to keep the oil cup free from moisture and electrode oxidation.
