Development History

HUAYI was established following the restructuring of the former Wuhan High Voltage Research Institute High Test Equipment Manufacturing Factory. The company began developing and manufacturing electrical testing equipment, laying the foundation for its future growth in the power testing industry.

HUAYI expanded its electrical testing product range and strengthened R&D. During this period, the company developed multifunctional earth resistance testers and other testing instruments, while building an early quality management system.

As the business grew, HUAYI expanded its product development and manufacturing capabilities. New products included high-voltage switch testers, circuit resistance testers, and relay protection test equipment. Management and quality systems were further improved to support higher production requirements.

HUAYI moved into its own industrial park and increased investment in production and inspection facilities. The company also introduced OA, PDM, and ERP systems to improve production management, product development, and internal operations.

HUAYI expanded its high-voltage testing capabilities and launched frequency-conversion series resonant test systems. The company also developed testing software for relay protection, transformer testing, and cable fault detection, strengthening the integration of hardware and software.

HUAYI continued to expand its electrical testing portfolio and enter international markets. The product range covered high-voltage testing, transformer testing, partial discharge testing, relay protection testing, cable testing, switchgear testing, and other electrical measurement applications.
