The detecting technique of cable oscillatory wave is mainly use for cross-linked polyethylene power cable detection, which is a effective method of off-line detection. This technology is based on LCR damped oscillation principle, on the basis of finishing DC charging, damped oscillating voltage wave is formed by built-in high-voltage reactors, high-voltage real-time solid-state switches and testing cables, sinusoidal voltage with approximate power frequency is applied to the testing cable, so as to excites the discharge signal of defect cable.
After continuous trial and exploration, HUAYI researchers finally overcomed the technical difficulty of cable oscillation detection. The technology is based on pulse current method to detect partial discharge signals with high sensitivity, and uses high-speed data acquisition equipment to complete partial discharge signal detection, acquisition and upload.
