Why can’t find out the resonance point when test?
There are many kinds of reasons which can’t find out the resonance point during test with series resonance test system. First of all, the capacity of reactor doesn’t match up with the capacity of test object. Therefore, it is difficult to confirm the resonance point accurately. Secondary, the loss rate of test object is too high, it may be caused by the low Q value of system. Besides, these reasons will also lead this issue, like as the output voltage of high voltage excitation transformer is not enough, the connection cable is over long, or High voltage corona- resistant tin foil bushing is not adopted.
To salve this issue, we can try to following below methods:
Add a compensation capacitor to increase the capacitance of test circuit, increase the inductance value of circuit through connecting more reactors in series. Enhance the output voltage of excitation transformer. Make test object dry to increase the strength of insulation. Reduce the real loss of circuit. If all the components are normal, and there is still no resonance point. We suggest to contact with supplier to check and solve.
