ZGS-DC Hipot Generator Tester
DC hipot tester adopts a high-frequency voltage doubling circuit, using the latest PWM pulse width modulation technology and the voltage and current double closed-loop feedback technology to improve the power supply adjustment rate and load regulation rate, making voltage more stable and ripple smaller. Using imported high-power IGBT devices and their driving technology to eliminate the interference of the switch. According to EMI electromagnetic interference and EMC electromagnetic compatibility theory, shielding, isolation, and grounding measures are adopted to improve the safety of the whole machine, and can withstand rated voltage discharge without damage. The selection of imported high-frequency high-voltage rectifier diodes makes the cylinder more compact and lightweight, to enhance the efficiency of the whole machine.

What is a DC hipot test?
Hipot tests are used for everything from very low-voltage devices to high-voltage equipment. For medium to high-voltage rotating equipment, DC hipot tests, called step voltage or ramp tests, are used to see whether the start of an insulation breakdown can be detected
What is the difference between AC and DC hipot?The
DC hi-pot tester provides a more accurate reading of the leakage current as it only reads real current. An AC hipot tester, on the other hand, measures total current and does not provide accurate leakage current measurement.
What is the leakage current for DC hipot?
The test waveform, whether DC or an AC sine wave, is also typically specified. What constitutes a failure? A hipot test failure is when the leakage current exceeds a specified limit or rapidly increases in an uncontrolled manner, or if arcing is observed. Typical leakage current limits range from 0.5 to 20 mA.
