How to wire the cable fault tester
Wiring is a critical step when using a cable fault tester. First, you need to make sure that the tester's wiring port is normal, such as checking for rust or aging problems. If the wiring port is faulty, it is recommended to replace the cable in time.
The specific wiring methods are as follows:
Current sampling, DC current sampling test wiring; This method is mainly used to test the high resistance fault distance of the cable. It collects the current signal waveform reflected back and forth in the cable by the fault pulse during the impact. It should be noted that "DC current sampling" is only applicable to flashover faults.
Multiple pulse, DC multiple pulse mode test wiring: This method is also used to test the high resistance fault distance of the cable. However, it can compare the non-breakdown waveform of in-phase fault with the breakdown waveform in the same screen.
