How to build the calibration system for measuring Voltage transformer

Sep 03, 2025 Leave a message

The measuring method of the voltage transformer:

1. Ratio measurement: By comparing the output of the standard voltage transformer with that of the transformer to be calibrated, the deviation between the actual ratio and the rated ratio can be calculated.
Phase difference measurement: Measure the phase difference between the secondary voltage and the primary voltage to ensure it is within the allowable range.
Data storage and analysis: Modern calibration systems are usually equipped with large-screen graphic LCDs and thermal printers, which can visually display the curve of the voltage-ampere graph and quickly print test data. The test data can be stored inside the instrument, making it convenient for subsequent analysis and reference.

The calibration test system for measuring voltage transformer:

Standard voltage transformer: It is as a calibration reference; it must have a higher accuracy level than the transformer being calibrated.
Adjustable voltage source: Used to simulate different voltage conditions in the power system, the output range needs to cover the rated voltage of the calibrated transformer.
Data acquisition and analysis module: Collects secondary voltage signals of the standard transformer and the transformer being calibrated, and calculates the ratio error and phase error to generate a calibration report.
