What is the CIRCUIT BREAKER?
CIRCUIT BREAKER – is used to interrupt circuits while current is flowing via them. The making and breaking of contacts in an Oil kind circuit breaker are finished beneath oil, this oil serves to quench the arc when the circuit is opened. The breaker is very speedy when opening. As with
the transformer, the high-voltage connections are made through bushings. Circuit breakers of this kind are usually arranged for faraway electrical manipulation from a suitably located switchboard. Some these days developed circuit breakers have no oil, but put out the arc via a blast of compressed air; these are called air circuit breakers. Another kind encloses the contacts in a vacuum or a gasoline (sulfur hexafluoride, SF6) which tends to self preserve the arc.
How to test circuit break
Usually we use the circuit breaker analyzer to test it. Our Circuit breaker analyzer have below function.
◆ Time: intrinsic close and open time of 12 breaks, synchronous in phase-phase, non-synchronous in phase-phase
◆ Re-closing: the time of closing-opening, opening-closing, opening-closing-opening of each break: first opening time, first closing time, secondary opening time, metal short circuit time, no current time value.
◆ Bounce: closing bounce time of each break, bounce frequency, bounce process, bounce waveform, opening rebounded amplitude of each opening
◆ Speed: opening speed, closing speed, maximum speed, time-travel curve
◆ Travel: total travel, opening range, over travel, overshoot travel, rebound amplitude
◆ Current: opening and closing current value and current waveform of opening/closing coil
◆ Operation voltage: DC.30~250V/20A digital adjustable breaker operation power is provided, which can automatically complete the low voltage operation test of the breaker, and measure the operation voltage value of the break
